Work In Progress

We have had a really enjoyable family day today, well 3 out of 4 of us have!


A lot of people wouldn't attempt the kind of things we get up to, but we've been building a shed with our daughter as she has quite a bit of 'stuff' round at our house still, even though she moved out a couple of years ago, and complained she had nowhere to put it. So we had to solve that problem :-)


The double doors were ex-French doors, saved for a rainy day when they would be invaluable.......except that rainy day turned out to be a VERY hot and sunny one instead ;-)


We were able to scrounge some of the wood from different sources and yes we had to buy some bits too, well daughter did, and the shed is very nearly finished. One more final push tomorrow including getting it painted before the torrential rain storms come!


It will be a good weeks work and I think a lot of lessons in the art of shed building have been learnt which will stand her in good stead for when she builds her next shed sometime in the future :-))
