Dig The City....

Dig The City is Manchester's urban garden festival. It's in it's third year I think. Possibly 4th. It's on the back end of July and into August and sort of takes over where the Jazz Festival finishes. It's a pretty cool event and last year was quite spectacular.

In the run up they do these TWEET hours where people are encouraged to tweet all this horticultural. The first one was this afternoon and was on the theme of Hanging baskets. I'd spotted a couple of rather good ones so I joined in the fun. They will be having a couple more of these events before the festival begins in earnest.
