The Kirkham
When this building was a pub, I spent quite a few afternoons and evenings here (either working or drinking).
Now though, it's a private residence rather than a public house.
On the other hand, when I went out for a drink in town with Tony, among the places we visited were an ex-furniture showroom and a former bank.
It's all too confusing.
Although dad seemed on good form on this day, I felt strangely flat. I think it's one of the side effects of what Gail describes as "the rollercoaster".
