What is it about the signs on this place? They're even inconsistent in their inconsistency.

Used Edinburgh Cooncil's online parking ticket facility for the first time today. It would have been marginally less annoying if it hadn't referred to my "shopping basket" and the "checkout". At least they didn't offer me a gift-wrapping option.
