Hot Dogs!

Goodness me, apparently Writtle which is just two miles from me recorded the highest temperature today....and I'm not surprised.

Once again been a busy bee. Only busy doing the housework, washing, ironing and then spent a good amount of time in the garden weeding the rockery. Oscar and Maisie sat close by in the shade. I do feel for them in this heat. Maisie likes to cool off in the river, but Oscar won't go anywhere near it.

Having a bit of trouble with neighbours dogs. They live the other side of the river and have taken to coming across the river into my garden. This morning there was a terrible barking row when two of their dogs came across into the garden. Good for my two for seeing them off. I'm a bit frightened of their dogs....really not very nice at all.

I've spent nearly two days in total on my rockery and still not finished. I'm not sure if I should just dig everything out and start again. On Monday you couldn't even see that it was a rockery. Everything was covered in grass and weeds. But today you can. It needs a little bit more tlc and I'm sure it will look nice.....then I'll find another garden project to work on.
