The first runner beans

Do the first runners mean that they've won the race? Well these are the first to be big enough to pick but plenty more to come. I love them, they must be my very favourite vegetable!

This morning I went to my watercolour group but spent so long drawing that I didn't pick up a brush. Hopefully I'll find time to finish it this week as I seem to have a lot of unfinished pictures.
