Cut off in her prime

This is the base of the statue of Sabrina, goddess of the River Severn which is also a fountain in one of the beautiful flower beds in Cae Glas Park in Oswestry.

She was removed by would be thieves that abandoned her on the roadside and is now being repaired. The newspaper report is here.

On Wednesday the Britain In Bloom judges were around. What a shame that she wasn't there to enhance our beautiful park.

An early blip as I'm off to Stoke On Trent where I have a gig with Band number 2. It's on a farm so assume in a barn. I might be glad of that bowler hat if it's cold!
