Gorgeous!

I am continuing my tour of the new Terminal 2 restaurants at Heathrow Airport. Today I flew off to San Francisco once again, and decided to visit 'The Gorgeous Kitchen'. This rather exclusive looking place was opened by 4 female celebrity chefs.

I like how this rather good-looking man sitting at the bar has been kind enough to dress in the colours of the restaurant - makes for a much better picture, don't you think? In fact, our own uniform complements their colour scheme quite well!

The restaurant wasn't busy. I hope that this is due more to the fact that not all the intended airlines are yet occupying T2, and not because the restaurant has got a bad location, tucked away and easily missed. The setting is beautiful and you can see the planes taxiing by, although the windows are screened somewhat by some ugly looking bars - hardly the choice of the restaurant. I enjoyed a late breakfast. They were happy to accommodate me even though I got there 3 minutes after they transitioned from breakfast to lunch. In fact, they bent over backwards to provide good service.

It's certainly not the cheapest place to eat in T2, but I highly recommend it!
