Evening reflections by the river

Hot and sunny today, and after dinner, which we ate out on the patio, we went walking by the river in Samois, enjoying the golden evening light, the reflections in the still water, the barges moored along the quay and the bird life, including a heron and a family of swans. This shot shows the bridge linking Samois with the Île du Berceau. I usually do a loop, walking up one of the streets to upper Samois, and dropping back down to the river further along, however I wasn't feeling very energetic this evening, so we kept to the flat, just walking along the river.
