Marathon day

Today was the mini-marathon element of the nursery Commonwealth Games. Katie went fully geared up for it, embracing it from the second she got up. Running kit on, she legged it the whole way there, and apparently was extremely bouncy.

After nursery, we headed home and had a playing at home time. We did a long time of reading eggs, she did me some lovely drawings and we sat with the bunnies for ages. We had hoped to see Granny & Grandad but a bad accident delayed them and she was asleep before they arrived. She said to me "maybe Grandad's stuck in traffic" - just as Grandad's text arrived to say they were stuck in traffic!
