If you can't beat them...

By Jerra

The morning afterthe weekend before.

Up early to break down the stand after the Kirkcudbright Country Fair. Most people had headed off home the night before leaving us and the Traction engines on the field.

We needed to be back in Cumbria so that Clickychick could take her Mum (FredaH) to a hospital appointment mid afternoon. What the shot shows is the long line of marquees used by the crafts people and other small traders. The open area to the right had been a display ring where the Eagles and Vultures were flown (see blip for the 12th) Just down near the second set of barriers is where I was standing for yesterdays blip and behind the trees to the left is where the Traction engines were parked (see blip for 11th).

We got the stand down in good time and were soon on the road only for CC to get a phone call telling her the hospital appointment had been postponed until next Monday!
