Just hatched!

Today we set out for a short walk and ended up on a long one. At the end of the road was a truly beautiful beach - white sand, turquoise sea, blue sky. And on the rocks, almost perfectly camouflaged, two eggs and two hatchlings. The parents, ringed plovers, watched anxiously nearby as I took a quick photo.
