skylark

When I play golf I love the sound of the skylarks in a field next to the 3rd hole. This morning I set out early to work to detour and see if I could get a blip.

Well there were less of them now and they are a nightmare to photograph. They flit quickly in the air for short periods and then dive back down into the long grass !!
On top of that they are much smaller than a peregrine to focus on. This one is heavily cropped.
