First steps

Watched by a proud mother, this little girl took her first water ski lesson on the lake at Nantua on the National Fete Day 14 July. A moment that had to be captured on camera!
Although the afternoon walk along the esplanade and through the classic car rally was distinctly chilly with the wind whipping across the lake, the calm of the evening brought a lovely sunset as we waited for the fantastic firework display to begin at 10 pm. At 10.45pm the display began and obviously was reflected over the lake and well worth the wait. The forecast is good for Tuesday as we leave!
