Cooling off

I have no idea who this man is or why he stood for the best part of half an hour in the Allanwater river cooling off, gently washing himself while people photographed him from the bridge in Bridge-of-Allan.

He was not young, a man of some years, and heavily tattoed wearing a silver chain with a cross.

There must be a story, and a sad one, there somewhere
