A beautiful sunny morning when I got up about 6.

The weather is very changeable at the moment, and as I expected to be stuck at my desk most of the day, the moment had to be grabbed.

As soon as the coffee was ready I put it into my flask and went over to the harbour to drink it.

Wonderful. So quiet at 7am.

Blip material all over, and I chose the birds eventually.

I don't know if they're shags or cormorants (I do know the difference - I think) but I can't see the colour of their plumage.

They spread their wings and hold them like that for long periods - drying off and/or warming up in the sun.

I may do this again, but not tomorrow - rain predicted.
