latecomers will not be admitted

Took the plunge at the weekend and bought a ticket for something at next month's Edinburgh Book Festival. The ticket arrived today.

I'd gone about it scientifically. I looked under "S" in the list of authors appearing, and chose the first one I recognised. 

Elif Şafak it is.

It may turn out well. A while back I read the book which got her in trouble.
