Archie photobombs the Kelpies...

We nearly choked on our breakfast cereal this morning at Archie's antics. He went out his doggie door, then tried and tried to come back in with his big football. What a daft dog he is!

Archie’s limit in the car seems to be 45 minutes. So it was a pity that we got lost on the way to the Kelpies and it took us 55 minutes. And yes, he was sick just as we arrived. No worries - I just had to stop him gobbling up his breakfast again while we waited for for a few minutes for a park (it was mobbed!).

Once we were out and walking to the Kelpies he had a whale of a time! Lots and lots of dogs to sniff! Also lots and lots of toddlers and loud children on scooters - and not a growl or a yap passed his wee lips, but my trigger finger was ready…

At one point I was walking ahead of JR and Archie, and a wee girl passed me saying to her mum, ‘Look at that sweet wee dog, Mum’. I watched as she went straight to pat Archie, who didn’t mind, and her mum said, ‘Be gentle.’ All good experiences for the wee lad.

I must say, the Kelpies are spectacular. The whole park looks amazing for kids and families and cyclists.

We got home within his time limit. He’s snoring as we speak. Another good day in the life of Archie...
