Pink Roses

Today was the first full day of classes at our conference. New ideas, new products, new contacts and new friends. It was a whirlwind of activity, going from one inspiring lecture to another. One thing I've noticed about convention centers is how easy it is to lose your bearings. By the time evening rolled around, we were grateful to just sit and review the topics of the day as we enjoyed a lovely dinner. I commented to one of the wait staff about a beautiful display of pink roses and other flowers, and before I knew it she had brought a rose for each of us to the table. Back in the room I remembered that I had no appropriate photo for the day, and that gesture of hospitality became the subject of my blip-- just before hopping into bed for the night!
