#Mono Monday - Er tree?
My blip should have been of the pretty and interesting bark of my silver birch tree but someone (Lottie dog) wanted in on the action and so you have 'Lottree' instead today. I can't say I'm displeased with the shot as she is irresistible.
I started the day in our MK office working and attending a meeting for some business development we're doing. I then worked some more and then had to drive over to Northampton as I'd agreed to put two cakes into the Bake sale but I ended up leaving MK rather later than I thought and arrived back in Northampton (via home to let Lottie out) just as they were packing up! What a waste of a journey. Still they're going to sell the cakes tomorrow as they had a number left over. The proceeds will go to charity.
I then had to drive straight back the way I came to get to photography, which was fine although a bit unstructured for me and so I messed about in Photoshop and admired some of the others' photos which were pretty good. I left after a couple of hours. The 10 week course has been most instructive with a very good tutor and that was the last lesson so it's now down to me plus blippers plus internet to learn more and improve my technique etc..
It was an historic day today. The CofE finally voted to allow women bishops. I rang CP to congratulate her as I reckon she could well be a candidate in the future. Fingers crossed. We arranged to meet up in St Margaret's on Saturday afternoon after synod. Also, a very old school friend of mine who is a flag expert keeps appearing on the BBC radio to talk about Scotland and the dis-union if it happens and what might happen to the Union Flag. Today it was Jeremy Vine. Last week it was pm. It's funny to hear him on the radio. He sounds really good though (he has a lovely voice) and knowledgeable (which he is).
I have another early start tomorrow :(
