Sicily

Spent the day wandering around Palermo. It was Palm Sunday and as a result it was very interesting to see the activity around the many churches in the area. This picture is a small part of a large fountain near several churches. It was named the "Fountain of Shame" because of all the nude statues adorning it. The pious ladies would have to shield their eyes on the way to church.
