MONO MONDAY - ALMOST A TREE!

I decided I would be adventurous this week and try my hand/camera at MonoMonday - got some reasonable shots - but the beach doesn't look that good in mono especially when it is such a glorious day and the sea is a beautiful turquoise colour - I have uploaded the same shot into my Blipfolio so you can see what I mean! I have also put this one in to show the beach at 7.00 a.m this morning.

However, as I sat at Urban Reef, the beachside café I often go to, a group of lads came in and I surreptitiously (meaning, in a secret say so that others will not notice) took this photograph of one of the lads who was facing me - not sure how it will look on the BIG screen, but it looked fine on my iPhone!

Then, when I went over to Gingernan's page, I realised that all the other people had blipped "Trees" so was thankful to see that there is a tree just next to my subject, so I hope this qualifies - if not, then so be it - at least I have tried my best!

It's always much better to try your best
and fail
than not trying at all.
