Dianthus

This macro shot of a Dianthus is my entry for this week's Let's See Your Best Shot where the subject is "Flower From Your Yard".

We spent last night in Madelia after the BBQ/Blues festival and arrived home about 11:00 am. Anna came over and we sat out and enjoyed the sunshine for about an hour. Then we went over to the Peppermint Twist and I had a raspberry shake. This is their specialty made with fresh raspberries. Wonderful!

Tonight was an employee celebration at Don's work place. He works at National Camera Exchange, which is celebrating their 100th year of business. The company has been run by the same family for all those years. Don has worked there for only two years so it was interesting to see and read the memorabilia on display. Good food, too! (seems to be the theme of the day).
