In the Q

This week we're off for a family holiday on the island of Colonsay. We drove to Oban in lovely sunny weather and left our car there, continuing the journey by bike. On arrival, Luke was so keen to see the World Cup final that he cycled on ahead in the wrong direction. He still managed to arrive before me.. I had to push my heavily laden bicycle up some steep bits and stopped for photos. We did get to watch most of the match (the only one I've seen in this world cup) and afterwards I went out to look at the moon and met one of our neighbours, Walter, who moved here from near Dumfries 56 years ago. It's gone 11pm and just getting dark. Goodnight from Colonsay!
