Jungle

I go away for a week and come back to find the garden is like a jungly rainforest. Dense layers of vegetation weighed down by rain. I haven't seen many trees in the past week and I had forgotten how many birds we have around the house. The huge horse chestnut tree lost a huge limb and D has been cutting it up. A herd of cows escaped their field and trampled the lawn. Monster moles have left monster molehills.
Too wet to do much about it today, or to dry the huge mounds of holiday washing. I did all my paperwork and took some photos.
C'est la vie...
