The Oyonnax valley, and the town in particular, owes its wealth to plastic! It is known as "the plastics valley" and therefore on another drizzly day where else could we go but to the Museum of Combs & Plastic? There were combs and headdresses from all over the world made, over many centuries, from gold , silver, wood, bone, and plastic! There was furniture, crockery, buttons, jewellery, and clothing all made with plastic. However, despite the poor quality of the photo, we were most amused by the "Jules Bond" or "Dame Edna Bond" gunfire glasses! Then we were intrigued by the plastic Computer that will roll up and fit in your pocket in the not too distant future!
