Showtime

Today was a big day in Cat's calendar - judging day for the Lakes Art Society Summer show - one of the most prestigious art shows outside of London - its also the first of this years 'main events'.
Last year she got one picture accepted - this year she's entered two;Sadgill Falls and Ill Bell, then next comes the Penrith Art Show and finally her own art groups exhibition at Kendal Town Hall.
I've blipped before about the surprise I feel when I see the finished works - day by day they creep up on me - and then suddenly its "wow" - even these two links don't really do them justice now they're mounted and framed - but taking photo's of them thinking they might not come back from these shows (which obviously is the aim) is actually quite sad.

I'll have to crack the whip and insist she paints some more!!
