Towel

One should always know where one's towel is - especially the towel bought from the Salisbury branch of Marks & Spencer's, clearly the place to buy a towel in the 80's.

I don't recall wrapping your oscilloscope being in the classic list of uses of a towel, but that's where it's at today. Mostly packing today, getting stuff out of the loft and generally trying to cut down the volume of stuff to be moved.
