balloon and moon

After a day in the sun, i headed off child free to Glentress for some evening mountain biking with some other Mummy friends. We got half way to the Buzzard Nest carpark and my bike started making very odd noises. By the time we got to the top carpark, i had a grinding bottom bracket, a wobbly handlebar and a chain that kept jumping off. So as my bike wasn't really up to the job, I headed back down the fire road with wobbly handlebars making it an interesting descent!.
So after this abortive trip to Glentress on my bike, I was feeling a bit grumpy and thought i'd cheer myself up by going through the photos i took last night of the view from our living room of moon rising as a hot air balloon was going past. It was incredible to watch as the moon started behind the telephone mast and moved very quickly behind it and upwards. So here is my favourite one.
