Munch

No munching for me today. Off to the dentist for annual check up and so-called "Professional Teeth Cleaning". Not sure it's any better than the standard free of charge teeth cleaning but at least it helps to pay the dentist's electricity bill.

In all three treatment rooms, there are paintings hanging on the ceiling. Personally I would think Edvard Munch's "Scream" more appropriate.

After the cleaning and x-rays the check up. Well it's been 9 years since anything was done so the news that there is some work to be done was not a great surprise. So end of August another appointment to do some Periodontitis work and plug two cavities before talking about replacing them with crowns. Sounds painful & expensive!

At least the sun came out for a few hours but heavy thunderstorms during the night.

The painting was done by Dieter Kunerth, an Ottobeuren artist who just a few months ago opened a museum here for modern art. Was quite a bit of publicity but I haven't been to see it yet.

I wonder if the prostrate figure is Messi, the standing one Schweinsteiger, after Sunday evening's game?
