Squawking Alert

While walking along the river, I heard a blue jay squawking incessantly. It was so insistent, I stopped to see what it was alerting me about. When I looked up, I noticed this raccoon sleeping in the tree. I can only guess that the jay's nest was nearby. As I walked away after taking a good look and a few pictures, the jay continued to squawk and the raccoon continued to sleep. If birds can get a sore throat, I think this jay will have one.
