KINGFISHER 13

This is Kingfisher 13 in the series coincidently taken on the 13th.
A frustrating morning with the newly purchased radio controlled shutter system. Its not as easy as it sounds - slopping around in the mud trying to get the right set-up and camera settings. - Then the birds themselves were a bit unsettled by this newly landed bit of machinery from outer space !! Birds were working around me - but! not on my perch mate !! - I got two shots in the alloted 1.5hours - right at the end when I was about to pack up in frustration.
this bird landed had a quick look at the camera and its machinations (no flash)
and took off ! well I broke my duck ( so to speak ) A lot of learning to do and improvements on camera positioningto make. If it was easy everyone would be doing it !!
