Gooseberries and Whitecurrants

We had another adventurous day, and we're all already a bit tired out.

A couple of nice walks, a trip to the library with coffee and cake, a bit of screaming and a bit of driving. Most excitingly, I brought herself out to pick from the Secret Magic Gooseberry Tree, which grows on the side of the road in a small mortar joint on top of the 1.5m high boundary wall of the waterworks and which has given me a kilo of gooseberries every year for the last few years.

Also, a bit of trying to figure out what to do with whitecurrants and slowly eating an allotment artichoke.
