Fun in the sun

The heat was rather overwhelming today - no complaints though- at least we are getting some summer weather. It is getting very black now, and I'm getting a headache, so I reckon a storm is moving in.

Husband J has gone out with 2 other setbuilders whose wives have gone away this weekend. They left at 2pm to walk to 3 local pubs. It is now nearly 9pm and they are not back - they may regret this in the morning!

Meanwhile the grandchildren had the paddling pool to cool off in. Poppy dog doesn't usually like the water, but must have been suffering in the heat as she didn't object when M took her into the pool with her!
