Peeping Tom!

The birds in the field were carrying on something shocking this evening. I could see a cat in the grass over the far side of the field, but it was too far away to worry them.

I then noticed a slight movement at the edge of the field in front of me, then saw this little chap peering through the remainder of the hay. I miaowed at him and he answered each time I did it - obviously thinking I was some mad human trying to speak to him (my family and neighbours think I'm nuts anyway!), but it did draw him close enough to get a quick shot of him.

After this he wandered off - all the while being closely monitored by the other cat which was creeping ever nearer. I had to go inside to get away from the midges, but I think a fight might have ensued!
