A good tart!

My Canadian cousins are coming to stay for a couple of days and their boys have not been to the U.K. before. I decided that for our family meal tomorrow I would cook roast beef with all the traditional trimmings followed by Cheddar strawberries and clotted cream or treacle tart. Mmmmmm!


Farming. - Three tractors and trailers out for a neighbouring Contractor today. He needed 20 in total as they are hauling long distances. We had to get the John Deere mechanics out today as one of our main tractors has yet again had a problem with the injectors. Long gone are the days when you could use the handle to start the tractor and most other problems were so simple that a basic mechanic could get them going again. Today it involves computers and some very specialised mechanics. By late afternoon they had got it going. Phew.....
