Caloundra, Sunshine Coast

After another long lie in (I could get use to these!), we headed out to Caloundra, about a 25 minute drive south of Mooloolaba. Here we visited the Queensland Air Museum, where they had on display many wonderfully restored aircraft. The one I was most impressed with was the General Dynamics F-111C fighter plane. It was in immaculate condition - obviously someone's much loved 'toy'.

After that, we headed into Caloundra and had a lovely leisurely lunch in a cafe by the beach. It was nice and relaxing, and once again the food was amazing.

Following lunch we went for a walk along the beach front - the weather has once again been beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky and 22 degrees. The surf patrol had their swimming flags out, there were boaties and sea kayakers passing by in the water, and groups of families playing together, and relaxing, on the beach front.

We have returned home to our apartment and the boys have retreated to the swimming pool, while I'm doing...well nothing.

Perfect.
