Leaving Islay - Port Ellen

I woke up early and went for a run, got back in time to pack everything up and have breakfast before we left the hostel. Port Charlotte youth hostel is well worth a trip, it's so relaxed and the people who run it are lovely.

We had coffee and cake in Bruichladdich village before making our way to Port Ellen for the boat. We had a wonderful trip, the weather was spectacular (again) and there is still more to see so I'm sure we will be back. Hopefully next time by bike!
