Hip,hip, hoorah
What a fabulous day for the Queens Baton relay. We met in the Jubilee Park and were entertained by the Commonwealth youth Circus group that kept the girls hooked. Some great ideas for next years Brownie sessions, maybe not the tightrope though !
The Dingwall British Legion pipe band lead the baton in and it moved quickly past us , some of the girls missing it as it sped past held by former Scottish rugby seven player.
The Police Officer next to us was brilliant getting the girls to cheer and wave their flags.
We saw Clyde the mascot and a flashmob performed a dance to the Proclaimers I'm gonna be (500 miles) .
The area looked very colourful around the park as the sun shone brightly. Really hot, even reading 29 degrees on some of the route according to thermometer on the Baton support cars.
Feet and legs aching now, looking forward to bedtime, Night, Night '')
