Year 2, Day 172 - Last Day

What a great week it has been! The weather has been fantastic - if a bit too hot for me!! I ended up going for a walk along some forestry tracks along from the cottage yesterday afternoon and I was melting by the time I got back...

Anyway, started off the day with another walk at the Uath Lochans with the dog, then tidied up and packed some stuff then headed back to the wildlife park for 2pm for the presentation. I have to say it was really good - the students have learned so much in such a short space of time!

At the end Dale and I decided to have one last drive through the main reserve and I am so glad we did because we got to see the Polar Bears. When I was there with my mum, dad and nephew on Wednesday we only saw one of them hiding at the bottom under a tree so not much to see really!

As we passed, one was sitting looking out the fence at us. Then, the other one came along with a big chunk of meat in his mouth and headed straight for the pool and disappeared under the surface with it. The one that had been sitting at the fence followed the other into the pool and they played together and ate together. It was so lovely to see!

I liked this shot the best but we did take loooooooots of photos! I have tried to clone out the wire fence....
