I don't like cricket
OBD decided to go back to feeding until 2am last night / this morning but then wasn't too bad settling in the night but was tiring.
Today we met up with some NCT girls and their babies in town taking advantage of John Lewis' free cake and drink. Was lovely to see them all and meet the little ones for the first time and share our experiences. I found it a bit hard when they were talking about labour and their babies being born as I still find it a bit upsetting that my body just wouldn't work as it should and I had to go the c section route at the last minute. But maybe OBD was trying to protect me as they all seem to have suffered with tears or being cut which with her size would almost certainly have happened to me. I must remember she's here safe and sound and my body managed to grow her and now feed her so it's not doing too bad!
We braved getting the bus into town and it was fine - apart from the old man who kept talking to me on the way in about places he'd been on the bus and countries he'd visited and it being horribly hot and crowded on the way home. But we survived!
The fella spent the day at the cricket with some friends and my dad - they had a spare ticket so on the way home I popped in for 10mins. OBD and I aren't cricket fans but was nice to have a quick look - and then leave!
Now just waiting for a curry - wish us luck getting to eat it without distractions and for an earlier sleep tonight.
