Water fight

Another scorcher today.

We went to toddlers this morning. A little boy had a birthday cake there and Mack has been saying his new word 'cake' ever since then.

After lunch we went for a play date at Kerr's friend C's house. It was a paddling pool / water guns play date and everyone had great fun. Mack played really well with the older children too and didn't want to come home. There was a paddling pool, a water slide, bubble machine, lots of water guns and all the usual garden toys including C's climbing frame / playhouse set.

Earlier in Sainsbury's I offered to buy Kerr a water gun to take with him for the play date. He chose one then put it back again, deciding he prefers his 99p Dobbie's garden scoosher instead.
