Picnic at Roukenglen

We went with friends to Roukenglen Park today to try out the new playground. It is excellent, so many things to play on and great for all ages.

It was really busy though, and difficult to keep track of the little ones. We soon made an escape to the shade under these trees for our picnic lunch.

What a scorcher again. Ice creams and cold drinks were consumed in the cafe, then a quick look around the garden centre before heading home.

We stopped at Gran and Grandpa's on the way home. Kerr practiced his tennis on their lawn and Mack got to grips with the plastic golf set.

I'm out for a curry tonight with my friend. Mid week meal out - looking forward to it and a good catch up.
