Frasassi Caves

The Frasassi Caves are near Fabriano in the Marche region of Italy.

After the end of day 1 of the conference I am attending we visited the Frasassi caves and they are truly astonishing with huge caverns filled with massive stalagmites and stalactites.

As is usual with these type of photos, they never do the real thing justice. The caves are astounding and if you are ever anywhere near Fabriano and the Frasassi caves then you really should take the time to visit them.
