Flame of the woods

The Ixora bushes are so pretty in the summer. Full of bright blooms that look so rich against the bright green leaves. I love the dainty pink center of this yellow flower. These flowers are nicknamed the Flame of the Woods because of their flame like colors.

I enjoy the beauty of our plants and flowers around our yard. I even enjoy the taking care of them. But not plants in the house. I gave up having indoor plants early in our marriage. No matter what I did or didn't do, they never would survive. I had to chuckle when I read Jerry Seinfeld's quote for I could relate.
