Dew?

I am sure I know a term for this phenomenon but it is nearly half a century since I last used it and it has slipped from memory.

Yesterday I hacked pruned back the Rosa rugosa that was getting in the way at the entrance to the drive. The clippings went straight into the garden waste recycling bin. This morning I had reason to open the bin and every leaf was covered in these tiny droplets of water. looking carefully I am fairly sure this is liquid coming from the stomata. It is this phenomenon that I used to know a term for particularly the droplet on the end of vine leaves.

I will be posting no more blips until Monday evening at the earliest as tomorrow morning early we are off to Kirkudbright for another show.
