Leeds Liverpool

Another bright warm sunny day spent outdoors! Today we walked for quite a few miles up the Leeds & Liverpool canal bank enjoying the local scenery and wildlife (spotted another kingfisher just as it dove down into the water and then swooped off) with the odd barge tootling by now and again. We stopped at this watering hole, The Waterside Inn, for lunch, which was very nice. Plenty of ducks, geese and big fish, possible carp or maybe bream, basking on the surface of the canal taking in the warmth of the sun.
