From the canal bank
Summer weather like this is never to be taken for granted in Scotland. So when I saw this swan cruising down the canal with the summer sky reflections I could not resist a portrayal of the scene from a wide-angle perspective featuring Anthriscus sylvestris - known as cow parsley, wild chervil, keck, or Queen Anne's lace - a familiar feature of the canal's summer flora.
