Afternoon Light at Danseys Pass
In the late 1850's, William Dansey extensively explored the rugged mountains inland from Oamaru, including a pass through the hills from the Waitaki Valley to Ranfurly and Central Otago. It is a mountain pass with an elevation of 935 m (3,068 ft), located in the Kakanui Mountains, in the South Island of New Zealand.
GingerNan and I have come to Wedderburn again, as we did about this time last year, to photograph the amazing scenery in the Maniototo. we travelled here via Danseys Pass from Duntroon to Wedderburn. I posted an image from Danseys Pass last year too.
Also travelling with us this year is Optomist.
Horomaka is supposed to be here too, and we're missing him because he wasn't well enough to come. We also have 3 others with us and maybe they'll end up blippers too, by the end of the week!
Commenting will likely be sporadic as the wifi is dodgy.
My Pink Umbrella ended up in Spotlight! Amazing. Thanks so much everyone :)
