Cathedral Grove on Vancouver Island

Stop enroute to Tofino in Cathedral Grove. Spectacular old trees, nice forest walk, messed up only when I forgot about my back and jumped off a log, landing hard and jarring it again. Sigh.

Stopped in Ucluelet to visit D's cousin for lunch, then on to the Whaler's Point hostel in Tofino. Beautiful hostel and location.

The evening saw D's cousin join us and give a fire Poi spinning demonstration. Good end to a fun day.
